Hello 2024
The last 6 months of 2023 was a massive time of change for me and my little family; it truely was the closing of a chapter in my life and welcoming a new one. With that brought an exciting new venture/employment, and some unsettled months that I happily reflect on in the rear view mirror of my life, as we had very little time to relocate ourselves and find a new rental in the midst of a rental crisis. I held on hope and trust that the universe would provide and gosh she sure did! I write this from my new studio in the back garden of our beautiful new rental so close to Fremantle. I will literally never hold an ounce of doubt in my mind that, what is meant to come, will. My nervous system now settling slowly as the dust of moving and unpacking settles, I want to express gratitude to those who had my back and held me up when I didn’t think I had capacity to keep going. I hold you in my heart dearly 🩷 Now I have a new studio that is bringing me so much inspiration in the morning light, creativity hangs like a lush scent in here and I am so here for it! I can’t wait to share my new space with you and share the magic that flows through me in this new chapter.
Whats coming
I started the new year off by smashing out a fun 70’s retro inspired mural for the lovely people at Rollerrama in Kalamunda. Get up there with your mates, lover or kids for a skate it’s such a vibe!
I have teamed up with The City of Melville along with a bunch of other great WA artists to create some art for irrigation cubicles along the river corridor and beyond. I have another mural project coming soon in White Gum Valley, and a group exhibition coming in May. I am so excited to be focusing more of my attention to a few passion projects of my own and am excited to share I will be running kids art classes again and art workshops for adults and kids! I’ll be starting of my offerings with a mixed media portraiture workshop on Sat May 4th, just in time for Mothers Day. So if you are looking for something to do with your mum or to treat yourself, grab a ticket from my shop and come get creative with me!
